Here at Spectrum Active we believe that all individuals have the same rights and opportunities. We support people with learning disabilities and support needs to fulfil their dreams and aspirations to gain experience in a work environment.

To achieve this, our staff are all trained to a high standard. They all have a vision, a holistic view, to build a service around the trainees needs.

What does ACTIVE stand for?

We give everyone the chance to get involved in some day to day work, be it gardening in our purpose built greenhouse, card or jewellery making, or wood working in our wood working rooms. Either way we are sure everyone will be proud of the products that come out of the dairy and even more proud when these products are bought through our online shop, Active Online.

We at Spectrum Active deliver a professional service where the trainee can develop and build self-esteem and gain knowledge at their own pace in a small group and one to one setting. On site, we have a manager, an occupational therapy service, a learning disability nurse and trained staff who are all CRB checked. All staff attend regular training and are fully trained in first aid and mandatory health and safety.
